An apartment lease letter, as clear from the term itself, is a letter for validation of taking or giving an apartment on lease. The letter should necessarily outline details of the structure, location, and other details of the lease, portions to be given on lease (if there are restrictions), costs included, specification of uses of the apartment as per lease, and other terms and conditions that define the particular apartment lease completely.

This is to inform you that I, Miss Jennifer Gomes, have agreed to lease you, Mr. George Robert Patrick, this apartment situated at the seventh floor of Roseway Buildings [15/ H2, Roseway Buildings] from the 16th day of October, 2011 to the 20th of October, 2012 for residential purposes only. As a reply to your last letter, wherein you have stated that you completely approve all the terms and conditions set by me and would strictly abide by them, I would like to send you this final draft [document has been enclosed with the letter] of all the clauses inherent to the lease.
You will have to make a down payment of $45000 by the 14th of October, 2011 and thereafter make monthly payments of $1500 for the entire term of lease. The apartment will be handed over to you in a furnished state but all costs of repair and maintenance will be your responsibility. Electricity and water supply are amply available and taxes have been cleared till date. The apartment is insured and all legal papers will be handed over to you with the keys on 15th October, 2011.
