House Rental Lease

A house rental lease is a legal document which contains the terms and conditions to be followed by the lessor and the lessee during the duration of the house rental lease. These terms are necessary so that there is no confusion or conflict regarding the rules and regulations to be followed by either party. The most important points to be included in a house rental lease are the names and addresses of the tenant and the landlord, description and address of the house to be leased, the lease term, the rent, number of people staying in the house, deposit amount, termination conditions, notice period and so on.

Address: 3242 Hardwood Lane, Dallas

Name of tenant: Jared Dawson

Address: 34 Pinewood Lane, Dallas

Property details: House number 24, Winston Drive, Dallas

The house rental lease agreement has been entered on February 20, 2012 by the landlord and the tenant for renting the property mentioned above. The landlord hereby agrees to lease the house to the tenant in return for a rent amount of $1,000 per month for one year.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The tenant has to pay $2,000 as security deposit which will be paid back to him when the lease term ends
  • The tenant will be responsible for maintaining the house and the utilities
  • Both parties have to give an advanced notice of 30 days to terminate the contract.
