Lease Transfer Letter

A lease transfer letter is a document which announces, with due permission from legal authorities, the decision of transferring a lease from one lessee to another. Sometimes, though much more rarely, leases are transferred from one lessor to another as well. It is a document which must mention the details of both lessees and mention also any changes that will be effected in the lease due to the transfer. It should be written by someone well versed in the task of legal lease writing.

Subject: Request for Lease Transfer

Respected Sir,

This letter is to inform you that we desire to transfer the Wholesale Product Lease [number 7445] which was effected between you as the lessor and our company, Greens Fresh Pvt. Ltd. as the lessee on the 23rd of March 2011 for duration of three years. We wish to transfer this lease to our associate partners FreshNitz Pvt. Ltd. due to financial compulsions [please check attached annex document to see a list of the reasons for transfer].

By virtue of this transfer there shall be no impact on the existing deal. This transfer is on paper only and we shall continue to supply you with fresh produce at wholesale rates as we have been doing for the last one year with no default. We request you to consider this change positively and respond at the earliest.
