Sample Lease Letter

A sample lease letter serves as a guide to the correct framing of a lease letter. A lease letter can be used in a number of occasions but it is most commonly used as a notification by the lessor to the lessee. A tone of courtesy must be maintained while enlisting important information regarding payments to be made and other such details.

Subject: Lease Letter

Respected Sir,

This is to inform you that I have agreed to lease the apartment addressed 34B Madison Park Road, New York, to you for a period of five years. The period of lease will commence on the 1st of May, 2011 and the deal will terminate itself on the 1st of May 2016. The deal will be translated into the appropriate legal notification next month on your consent to the terms and conditions I set.

You will be required to make an inspection of the apartment in this month. No items of furniture of upholstery or kitchenware will be provided to you. You will be required to make an advance payment of $100000 in cheque to the account number provided to you. The remaining amount will be paid by you as per the schedule devised by both of us.

We hope to discuss other issues at an approaching date and begin a fruitful working relationship. No complaints will hopefully be necessary and I am looking forward to having you as a tenant.

Thanking you,

Jacob Aram,

New York.
