Short Term Commercial Lease

A short term commercial lease is a document which, like all leases, has legal validity and it highlights the main points of interest in the agreement finalized between two consenting parties regarding the use of a certain property, or good, for commercial purposes. It must be written after consultation with legal experts who can guide as to its proper framing, as well as create a document that will not leave legal loopholes which can complicate matters in case of disputes.

Sample Short Term Commercial Lease:

The following document is a short term commercial lease agreed at by Shorthorn Public Inc. [henceforth referred to as the lessor] and Infratrop Pvt. Ltd. [henceforth referred to as the lessee] on the 15th day of the month of June 2011. The short term commercial lease takes as its subject the hiring of a piece of real estate, by the lessor, to the lessee for commercial purposes [namely, the establishment of the latter’s new office complex]. The said property is 200 acres in area and houses several tenements which are part of the lease agreement. The duration of the short term commercial lease is one year, starting from the 15th of July 2011, and the contract may be renewed or extended as the lessor may deem fit.

The terms and condition governing the short term commercial lease contract must be carefully perused by both parties and they must be strictly adhered to. In order to ensure fairness and justice, these terms were set up after consultation with both parties.
